Toggle between worksheets

Normally you would see the multiple Excel icons at the bottom knowing you
have more than one application open. When I open 2 or more excel worksheets
I only see 1 icon and I cannot toggle between each one using the ALT-TAB keys.

Please tell me the keyboard shortcut to toggle between worksheets in the same
Excel file. My OS is XP and am using Excel 2000.

I love the ALT-TAB function to toggle between documents. Is there a similar
function that I can use with worksheets?

Is there a shortcut key(s) that will switch me between worksheets in the same
workbook, a la ALT Tab?

It is a pain to have to grab & repoint the mouse everytime I want to go
between worksheets.

It seems that I have seen this before, but I may be mistaken. I am having to
toggle back and forth between 19 worksheets in a single workbook and it is a
pain to have to click and scroll to each worksheet.... Any suggestions?

I have a workbook that is saved under many different file names that users use to update sales forecasts. From time to time, I have to update the workbooks to make changes. Instead of opening each workbook, making the change and saving/closing, I created a macro to open each workbook, perform a macro (below listed as "Personal.xls!Macro10") and save/close.

What I need to do within the "Personal.xlsMacro10" is toggle between a workbook I'll call "Test.xls" and the workbook I've opened. Without adding this step into each line of code for each named workbook, can I use VBA to copy a worksheet in "Test.xls", switch to "116.xls" (this example) without calling out "116.xls" ? I tried 'Thisworkbook' but that didn't work. This would save me hours of time if someone can assist. Thanks

I have to use several different worksheets and databases in Excel. How can I
go back and forth between worksheets of the same database and also between
databases?

The code below is not executing correctly due to the fact that I believe I am not toggling between the workbook where I am executing the code (wbCodeBook), and where I am copying the gPA worksheet (wbResults). Any ideas where I am going wrong?

The toggle function used to 'flip' between programs and files would be very
useful for workbooks with a larger number of sheets.

Hi Everybody,

I am just getting into using macros properly, and I was wondering if anybody had a solution for my problem. From what I can see people need to copy specific colums, or rows between worksheets, but what about the entire table or worksheet ?

I have a workbook which has 12 worksheets, one for each individual sales person. Each worksheet contains a table to allow us to see what has been forecast for the rest of the yeat etc etc. What I would like to do is copy the data from each worksheet (headings, data, formatting) to a 13th worksheet, and put a single row betwen each set of data to make it easer to read. Once it is in a single summary worksheet(13th worksheet) I can manipulate the figures to see how far off the number are. One of the problems is that the last row for each worksheet changes as more data is added in. In some cases the last row of data is 22, but with some of the more established sales people there is a number of opportunities on the go, so they have in excess of 50 rows of sales forecasts.

Can anybody help ?

I need help automating a database between worksheet. I currently have a master list that my boss wants me to divide into regions and but in a separate worksheet. I know I can use the sort command and copy and paste the cells into the other spread sheet. But I am wanting it to automatically transfer the data anytime a cell is added or updated. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm doing this on a MAC (I normally work with a pc) and switching between worksheets only works the first time. The following code

I've tried using indexes instead of sheet names, tried Sheets instead of Worksheets... same thing. Any idea what's causing this?

I am trying to do the following.

Once a week I need five columns to be copied from one worksheet into another.
So so, when the 17th October is reached, column A,B,C are copied from worksheet A across to worksheet B.
In worksheet B, the copied columns would be placed in column A,B,C in the first week.
The other point is that the copied information has formula behind the cells. I want the cell content to be copied but not the formula, to prevent auto updating between worksheets.!
For the next week when the 24th Oct (e.g.) came around, column A,B,C of worksheetA would be copied again across to worksheet B, but would be placed in D,E,F alongside the previous weeks work . This sequence would continue for five weeks.

Then when week 6 arrived , the original week 1 data would be deleted, and worksheet B would now contain weeks 2-6 columns. This would be a rolling sequence.

Help!! I am not sure if this is possible but hopefully an expert is out there

I have made a price calculator in Excel with a lot of comboboxes for input.

My question is if it is possible to somehow let the user toggle between the comboboxes using their keyboard instad of their mouse.

I.e using Tab to toggle between comboboxes and then the arrows for selcting.

This might be a stupid question, but I have to ask it because it is driving me crazy. Before an IM upgrade at work, all of my seperate excel worksheets showed up as different items on the bottom toolbar.

After the upgrade, however, I have to go to "Window" on the excel toolbar to toggle between worksheets. I'm assuming the IM upgrade just changed a default setting, but can anyone tell me what setting that was and how to change it back?

I can't believe this is happening!

In one worksheet ("MIXES") I have recipes that draw their individual
ingredient cost prices from a large product range in another worksheet
("PRICELOOKUP) in the same workbook. I applied range names to the relevant
unit cost fields in PRICELOOKUP, and referenced those in the formulae in
MIXES. After new lines are added, PRICELOOKUP is sorted alphabetically by
Supplier and then Product. The result: All the range names behave
"absolute", failing to move to the relevant new (row) position, thus
referencing an entirely spurious product after the sort.

I tried abandoning range names and just referencing the cell. Same result.
This has never happened to me after sorting within the same worksheet, and I
never suspected that it would be any different referencing between
worksheets.

Has anyone found a workaround for this problem?

Something strange has happened to my Excel 2003 installation.

The problem I am having is that I cannot copy & paste cells between
worksheets. When I use copy & paste it simply copies over the values. I have
then tried using paste special but I do not get the usual menue where you can
select what you want to copy, i.e. values, formulae, format etc. i just get a
box that offers to post as a bitmap, text etc.

I have accessed the same spreadsheet over my home network on my lap top and
it all works fine. I have run a repair on Office 2003 but that does not make
any difference.

I do not know if it is related but I am also having problems on the same
spreadsheet (hence my reason for trying to put together another version) with
unrequested hyperlinks appearing taking me to other worksheets in the
workbook.

I would like to find out what is the shortcut for switching between
worksheets in the same workbook

i have searched & searched the help topics for this to no avail. Is there a
keyboard shortcut for switching between worksheets. I have a large document
with several sheets that i use all day long. Other than clicking the
worksheet tabs, i don't really have to use the mouse much & it gets quite
aggrevating.
