Double-stack tabs in Excel?

Hi! I have a worksheet that has about 30 tabs in it. Unfortunately I need all of those tabs, but would like a way to view it a little easier. Is there a way to double stack/layer the tabs, so I can see them all without having to scroll through? If so - how is this accomplished? I'm using Excel 2003


Should be able to "stack" tabs in excel according to groups, hovering over
group name pops up the rest of the tabs in that group. This helps organize
large/extensize workbooks that have tons of tabs. All tabs/groups are layed

Can you color code tabs in Excel?

We've got many Vista PC's rolled out and a very common complaint is that
there is virtually no difference in color between a selected tab and an
unselected tab in Excel when using Vista's default theme. This is especially
problematic when people are selecting multiple tabs to make group changes.
They will invariably mess up the spreadsheet because they forget they've got
five tabs selected. How can we change this color without forcing everyone to
select the Windows XP theme?

Is there a theme definition we can use that is "professional" that will show
this difference?

I'm new to M Office Home & Student 2007. I can't display scroll bars and
worksheet tabs in Excel, even in XP versions that I have saved. How do I make
them visible

Is there a way to make a link to a specific tab in excel? I have a workbook
with many tabs and I want to make an first page that has links to go to
specific tab when clicked.

I used to be able to do this, but: how do you change the colour of the
worksheet tabs in Excel? I'm working with a whack of tabs and would like to
give each one a different colour - but I can't for the life of me remember
how to do it.

I have multiple tabs/Worksheets created, each is named after a person.
Periodically, new worksheets are added for new names. I am trying to auto
sort the tabs/worksheets by tab name; alpha=numerically. Can anyone say if or
how this can be done? I have Excel 2003, SP2. Thankx

If you make two rows of tabs in Excel, then it would be much easier to switch
between two sheets that are at the beginning and end of the tab order.

There should be an option to specify the number of tab rows that should be
displayed in the application

Is it possible to change the colour of the worksheet tabs in Excel ?
I would like to colour these to highlight certain sheets within the workbook.

I cannot find how to hide or unhide sheet tabs in Excel 2007 beta. Am I

I have asked a similar question before "how to stack charts in excel" and
someone very kindly pointed me towards the following web link:

For stacking this sort of chart you need to have the same x-axis for each
data set that is staked.

Now, i'm wondering if it is possible to stack charts where each y-axis data
set has its own specific x-axis data. The overall range on the x-axis will
be the same, but the individual data points that will be plotted will vary in
location along the x-axis depending on which y-axis data set it is.

For example, the data required to be stacked may look like this

X1 Y1 X2 Y2 X3 Y3
0 8 0 7.3 0 7.7
0.2 7 0.15 6.9 0.22 7.1
0.4 6 0.45 6.1 0.42 5.9
0.6
0.8
1 0 1 0 1 0

And I would like to stack the plot for X1 vs Y1 over the plot for X2 vs Y2
which is over the plot of X3 vs Y3 etc.

Any help on this matter is greatly appreciated!

Hi all,

Does anyone know if there's a means of changing the colour of the worksheet tabs in Excel 2000? I believe 2002 has an option to do this by right-clicking and selecting a 'Tab Color' option, but there's no such option in 2000.

Perhaps there's some VBA that could do it?

And ideas?

hey apologies if this is simple one, but i cant figure this out, i have tabs in excel, with one common column, i need to merge all the information together, but cannot do that, i will do a break down in example form if it helps

the common column is the name column, i need all the information into one sheet so it displays as

i hope the above makes sense, i have very basic skills, so could some one explain it in details, ive tried vlookup, but some of the data was missing... pivot is not working properly, unless im using it in a wrong format. thank you in advance

We are trying to add a trend line to a stacked chart in Excel but are having
no luck.

Hi there, I need help in stacking columns in excel. Attached herewith a sample of excel file.

For example,
(there are 13 columns and 14 rows of data for each company)

Company1 EPS ROA ROE ..... Company2 EPS ROA ROE

What I need to do is to stack each companies' data one under another:

Appreciate if someone can help. It will take days for me to do it manually...with more than 1200 companies!!

The tab in Excel goes from one screen to the next (eg. A1 to M1) instead of
to an adjacent cell (eg. A1 to B1). How do I correct this?
