keyboard shortcut for zoom

does anyone know if there is a keyboard shortcut for zooming in and out in
excel?
thanks!

I posted the question below yesterday and received the following response.
However, I am interested in a KEYBOARD SHORTCUT for zooming in and out -- not
using the mouse as it slows me down everytime I have to remove my hands from
the keyboard.

Also, does anyone know if there is a keyboard shortcut to escape "text edit
mode" after hitting F2 to edit a formula -- e.g. after I hit F2 to edit the
content of a cell, I am unable to use the arrow keys to select a cell to use
in the formula without first having to take my hand off the keyboard and
clicking on that cell with the mouse. Experienced Excel users should know
what I mean.

If you have a wheel on your mouse the hold down the CTRL key and rotate the
wheel up or down.

Hope this helps

hiya all

does anyone know the keyboard shortcut for copying formulas down in a spreadsheet rather than using the fill-handle. I know CTRL D works but only for one cell immediately below.

I know that pressing F2 will put you in the formula bar. However, is there a
keyboard shortcut for putting you in the name box (I have a large number of
cells to name). Thanks.

My question is two-fold:
If I have a formula driven cell (i.e. the cell syntax in A1 looks as follows
"=F32") I can double-click A1 to have the selector move to F32. How do I turn
this dunctionon an off?
What is the keyboard shortcut for the double-click? (NB - not the shortcut
for editing, I know its F2).

Any help appreciated.

Hi aricshoe- You can record a macro and then assign it to a text-only toolbar
button and that will give you the alt+letter shortcuts.

Is there a keyboard shortcut for right-click? I like keyboard navigation and
it would be great to bring up the right click menu without the mouse. I'm
thinking primarily in Excel, but also while viewing folder contents.

Thanks!

Is there a keyboard shortcut for Best Fit command (double clicking mouse in
between row or column)? In the event there is not, is there a way to create
(or customize) keyboard shortcuts in Excel? I am using Office Pro 2003.

Thanks.

Hi there! I work in Excel a lot and use the Find window A LOT. I typically
search for a number, change some data, and search for the next number.
Unfortunately, I can't find a keyboard shortcut for switching between the
Find window and my spreadsheet. I realize that I can use ESC and then CTRL-F
again but I was hoping to shorten the steps. Anyone have any ideas? Or if I
can create a macro to perform this? I would just rather not use the mouse if
I can help it.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give!

Keyboard shortcuts for paste special>values, formulas?

i have searched & searched the help topics for this to no avail. Is there a
keyboard shortcut for switching between worksheets. I have a large document
with several sheets that i use all day long. Other than clicking the
worksheet tabs, i don't really have to use the mouse much & it gets quite
aggrevating.
