Writing upside down..180 degrees?

I thought this would be simple to do by formating the cell, but all I can find out is 90 degrees. Also, my ace in the hole, ASAP Utilities add on does not have this either, rather it will just change the letters around for teh word "dog" to "god" etc. I am trying to create a map with location points that can be read either which way someone holds the paper. Text boxes don't have rotation handles on them. I supose I could change page set up to a landscape and then change text direction to two apposing 90 degrees, but since it is a 10,000 row sheet, that is not possible. Any thougths?

Hi,

I'm trying to print my landscape sheet from excel "upside down" or at an 180 degree angle. This is because when printing this and other sheets that are portrait the landscape one comes out the wrong direction with the top of the landscape sheet facing left instead of right.

Is there any way to fix this via excel / vba?

Thanks.

When you right click on a cell and select format cells, you can easily rotate 90 or -90 degrees, but I need to be able to rotate a cell 180 so that it is completely upside-down. Does anyone know if that is possible? Thanks in advance for any help.

How can I turn the text inside the Text Box upside down?

Example, I want to put in text "ABCDEFG" into the text box, but I want to
rotate it to 180 degree, to make it upside down.

Occasionally it's useful to have text upside-down in Word or Excel,
especially when it is an answer to a question or test. The current solution
of converting the text to a graphic just so it can be turned upside-down is
fiddly, and Publisher is not an option.

Format -> Text Direction... -> Orientation would be better in Word if it had
upside-down as an option.

Format Cells -> Alignment -> Orientation would be better in Excel with a
full 360 degrees to rotate the text.

Combo Boxes that I made using Excel 98/Windows 98 are upside down when I open the worksheet in Excel 2002/ Windows XP?

Hi there. I am trying to figure out a simple way to do a sort of upside-down lookup. I am having difficulty putting my problem into words without reference to a spreadhseet prop, so I have attached a small spreadsheet with a rudimentary example and explanation of what I am trying to achieve.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Our site has just been migrated from Windows 2000 to Windows XP running Office 2003 and Excel 2003.

Buttons controlling Macros on some spreadsheets now have the 'Caption' written upside-down. Clicking on the button reverts the text and the underlying code is triggered. The macros are working successfully but the buttons on the spreadsheet spoil the effect!

VB experts here have drawn a blank and I've checked all I know to the limit of my VBA knowledge so wondered if anyone out there could provide assistance?

Thanks

I need to print from Excel (2003) on card then fold in half. Is it possible to have the text upside down so that the "other" side of the card when folded will read the correct way?

Many thanks in advance, I'm sure one of you guys will know the answer!

WORD allows text direction change of 90 degrees. How do I change text 180
degrees?

Hi. I use Excel to make file tabs for our vertical file cabinet. I create
an entire sheet, which we then cut out.

I type the label names in the second, fourth, sixth, etc row, and link to
those labels in the first, third, fifth, etc row. (so that I don't need to
type twice)

I leave the two duplicated labels attached, and fold it over, to have the
text printed on both sides (so that you can read the labels no matter which
side you approach the cabinet from). The only problem is that the text on
one side is now upside down.

The text rotation option will only let you rotate 90° in either direction -
how do I rotate 180°?

I would like to rotate a word in excell to 180 degrees. It looks like I can
only go to 90 degrees. I am using 2000 version.

I have an Excel schedule that my employees are using. I want to be able to
print half the schedule right to left on the top half of a page and upside
down on the bottom half of a page. The reason for doing this is to provide a
pocket size chart that my employees can carry around after the printout is
folded.

I have upgraded to excel 2007 and i cant figure out how to get my text to turn upside down. I thought that i could do that in older versions but i may be wrong. any help would be great!
thanks

I am creating a spreadsheet that will be folded in half, put on a clipboard,
and used in flight.. Most used data is on the right side of the form, less
used on the left.

I want to be able to just fold the document back, while in the clipboard, to
access the less used data. To do this, I need to print he left side
normally, and the right side upside down.

I could print both sides normally, cut it in half, rotate the right side and
have it photocopied, but I thought I would ask if there is a way to set it up
via excel.

Hi, everyone. I have a question about fliping the datas in one column upside down in excell? Any functions or Macro can do it? thanks

Hi,
There is any formula or any tip to flip a text in a cell in Portrait orientation
from "This is a sample" to "ǝldɯɐs ɐ sı sıɥʇ"
For the sample I fliped, I use an online program but it mess up with numbers "1234567890" it transforms in "0987654321"
To be more exact I want a cell to take a value from another cell but upside-down
A1: example 1; A2: =A1(but upside down)
Thank you!

How do I rotate a Excel doc 180 degrees?

Is there a way to flip a text box so the text is completely upside-down? I

I have a two page worksheet that i want to print on one page front and back. That is not the problem. My problem is...Is there a way to print the second page of the worksheet so it is upside down on the back of the first page so you can flip the page vertically?

A colleague has a stacked bar chart that is for use in a PowerPoint presentation.

When copying and pasting it from Excel 2007 into PowerPoint 2007 the bars representing the data flip upside down but the rest of the graph remains the right way up. This also happens when copying and pasting into the same excel document or printing - in print preview the graph appears fine.

Copying and pasting as a picture (Enhanced metafile) works but does not really solve why this is happening.

Where I work we use excel files to keep track of changes made to products. Since upgrading to Excel 2007, the form we use outputs whatever text we put into the entry fields backwards and upside down.

I wish I were only joking.

The form was created using a previous version of Excel, I do not know which as I have only been working here a short time. I've attached a picture demonstrating the problem.

Greetings!

I have a bar chart keyed to a list of some 30 names. The list shows how many times a particular customer has contacted my company using a standard COUNTIF formula, and that information is then set into a bar chart.

The problem is that the bar chart is upside-down to the list sort. The list names go in ascending order from A - Z.

The bar chart (over which I have no direct sort control) presents itself in descending order from Z - A.

I would very much like the bar chart presented A - Z like the list. Any clues?

Thanks very much,
Brian
