Publish excel spreadsheet to FTP

I have an excel spreadsheet that grabs real time data from MySQL. I have a chart attached as a 2nd workbook and would like to display the chart on a website either "live" or some other method that isn't 100% manual.

Right now I save it as single web page .mhtml so that everytime I save the file it publishes the .mhtml and then I send that to the FTP site so it appears on the web.

Is there any way to automate this further?

In trying to publish Excel list to Sharepoint (push from Excel to
Sharepoint), I get the msg "Cannot connect to server at this time. Your list
cannot be published".
I am able to "pull" the same spreadsheet into Sharepoint, using Create List,
Import Spreadsheet. I have done the workaround in KB838703 with same results.
Any other suggestions ?

I am using Excel 2007.

I want to convert an Excel spreadsheet to a static one page HTML page that is:Using standard embedded HTML format (not referring to a CSS style sheet)Not using Microsoft styles. Not breaking up spreadsheet into multiple files or using folders.
Can this be performed by Excel 2007? Or is there another tool anybody can recommend?

When I use Excel 2007 Save As: Web Page *.htm, *.html Spreadsheet, it breaks up the spreadsheet into multiple files and uses a Microsoft-based styles.

is there a way to convert an excel spreadsheet to a calendar format?

Hello,

I am looking for some assistance. I am a beginner in the world of VBA. I am using Excel 2007. I am trying to use an excel spreadsheet to populate my teams outlook calender. Attached is the spreadsheet that I am working with (Worksheet 1).

What I am looking to do a few things with this data.....

1. I am looking to polulate the outlook calender using the date in column F
2. The subject line of the outlook calender entry is column A "-" column D
3. The location line of the outlook calender entry is column E
4. The body of the outlook calender entry should look as follows:
Column A
Column B if anything is in the cell
Column C if anything is in the cell
Column G if anything is in the cell
5. The start time should be 7 AM
6. The end time should be 7:01 AM. (it is okay to have multiple meetings at the same time, but if possible to make any on the same day follow each other (ex. the next one will start at 7:01 and go to 7:02, it is appreciated but not necessary)

This will all fit into a command button that each manager will be able to push (I have this already written). If it is possible, I would only like it to populate the outlook of the assigned executive in column H, If there is not an assigned executive, then I would liek that line to populate all peoples calender that push the command button.

I have tried to use generic code off of the internet (but not understanding the Outlook code it is difficult for me). The first error I received was that one of the Tools/Reference items was not checked off. To ensure that any code you help me with works, please indicate if I need to check special tabs in this area for excel and for outlook.

I know that I may not be specific enough here so if you have any questions, please ask me and I will be more then forward with the information you may need, also any explanations you can give so I actually understand what you are doing is great.

Thank you in advance for your time and assistance.

Hello,

I was wondering how can i upload my Excel Spreadsheet to google docs?

I uploaded it and it shows a lot of errors. Is google docs unable to read =B9*LOOKUP(B9,{0.0,25.0,75.0,300.0,1000.0,2500.0},{0.3466,0.3226,0.3186,0.3066,0.2866,0.2066}) ?

I'm posting this question after feeling like I have literally gone to the end of the internet in search of an answer. All I have so far is partial answers without a complete solution. I'm eager to hear if anyone has a solution, and am even willing to pay for some custom development (if need be).

The problem is fairly simple: I'm looking for the fastest way to load an Excel spreadsheet to a MS SQL Server database table. I have obviously found hundreds of solutions, many of which suggest that using OPENROWSET and OPENDATASOURCE are the best technique. Other solutions suggest SQLBULKCOPY or even bcp as the fastest loading method.

The problem is that every solution I have found only seems to work if an Excel file is located on the same machine as the SQL Server database. This will not be the case, as my application will use MS Excel on a client PC to interface SQL Server on a remote server.

Again, I'm looking for the fastest solution to load a spreadsheet (potentially with 100,000 lines or more) from a local PC to a remote SQL Server database.

Please help.

Thanks,
Matt

Hello Everyone,

I need to copy the data from one excel spreadsheet to another. My first excel spreadsheet has values like below

7654 8763
Date Talk time Handle Time handle15 TotaldelayTime xPTime POTime TCTime Talk time Handle Time handle15 TotaldelayTime xPTime POTime TCTime

1
2
3

Another excel spreadsheet say spreadsheet1, I have

7654
date Talk time Handle Time handle15 TotaldelayTime xPTime POTime TCTime

8/01/2010 5 10 8765 5432 8 987 234,786
8/02/2010 985 20 244 9876 9 10 123424
8/03/2010 444 222 244 9876 9 10 123424

8763

8/01/2010 444 222 244 9876 9 10 123424
8/02/2010 444 222 244 9876 9 10 123424
8/03/2010 444 222 244 9876 9 10 123424

(the numbers might not be matching with my attachment numbers)

I need to copy data from spreadsheet1 to spreadsheet2(please see attachment) in the same order when the date matches the above date so for e.g 8/01/2010 matched 1 and number 7654 matches number 7654 with the above sheet then the data should be copied from bottom spreadsheet to above spredsheet. The bottom spreadsheet will keep going for 7654 , 8763, 9876 and so on, there are total 14 of them. In the above spreadheet, these 14 numbers are displayed horizantally so I have 7654, 8763, 9876 and son and for each of these numbers, I have, Talk time Handle Time handle15 TotaldelayTime xPTime POTime TCTime in horizantal form.

How can I accomplish this in Excel macro. Any help will be greatly appreciated. (I have attached both the spreadsheets)

Thanks

how does one upload excel data to an ftp? there is data constantly being updated. A spreadsheet has incoming data every x time and the goal is to update a website with this data. some direction will be gladly appreciated. cheers

I am using Office 2010. Is there a way to publish a spreadsheet to a webpage. I think it is called embedding. Anyway, it would be nice if I could make changes to the spreadsheets values and just upload from Excel. I read the documentation and it was not only unhelpful but, tended to discourage me from trying this. Currently I am cutting and pasting the spreadsheet into an HTML editor and uploading that way. (We don't use MS Publisher, no one knows how.)

I tried Google Docs but they are like MS. I can share with Google users or Live users but, the general public are out of luck.

Any ideas on how to fix my problem.

Thank you for your consideration.

I am attempting to publish an interactive excel spreadsheet to the internet. I have been using frontpage. It does post, but I get an error message of "The microsoft spreadsheet component sould not load the XML data. There are styles that share a name or ID."

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Mark.

Need to publish spreadsheet to web with interactivity but REALLY need to
keep an image and some drawing objects (used as labels on the image).....if
published without interactivity the web version looks just like the xls
version, but if I select interactivity the image disappears and it is
integral to understanding the data.

Need interactivity and keep the image if there is any way....thanks!
