Any help appreciated.

I have a spreadsheet that contains one set of cells that is time in and
another set of cells that is time out.
I have been able to calculate elapsed time in hours and minutes by
converting the time in and time out to military time. Excel is reading this
as a time of day rather than the length of time.
How do I convert the elapsed time into minutes so that I can measure averages>

05:20
07:20
07:30
07:30
07:00
05:20
05:45
the above numbers are all individual times eg ( 5 hours and 20 minutes). I
need to add them all, which should come up to 45 hours and 5 minutes. The
format is [h]:mm for more than 24 hours, but the toatl it shows is 93:45
.. Can anyone show me which formula to use to add up time. I have tried all

This code works perfectly for insterting the selected item into the active cell, however it will only insert the selected item of column 1 of the list box, how do I enable it to transfer column 2/3 of the list box?

	VB:

 Image1_Click()
    Dim lItem As Long
    With ActiveCell.Characters 'Change Shape & Sheet name to suit
        .Text = vbNullString
        For lItem = ListBox2.ListCount - 1 To 0 Step -1
            If ListBox2.Selected(lItem) = True Then
                .Text = ListBox2.List(lItem) & "," & .Text
                ListBox2.Selected(lItem) = False

            Next
            .Text = Left(.Text, Len(.Text) - 1)

        End With

    End Sub
End If

Hi there - I have copied about 35,000 records from our website and pasted them into MS Excel 2010. They are formatted as text in the following way: 08/28/2010 17:52:49

How do I convert them from text to date, and also convert them from US to UK format so that I can analyse and order them?

I have tried the "text to columns" function using the DMY format and I have also tried to convert them manually by formatting the cells as date 04/12/10 etc using the format cells function.

Any help would be most gratefully appreciated!
